My experience at the Saltlik was punctuated by the absolutely stellar service provided by my server Denis. He was knowledgeable about the menu, helpful, personable and witty. And of course the meal was great. I would recommend checking out this restaurant and if you are lucky enough to get Denis you will be in great hands.

We had a great meal at the Saltlik our last night in Calgary. We had reservations for an early dinner and were seated right away, though we had to ask to be seated away from the kitchen entrance. Lovely atmosphere overall. We were warmly greeted by our server Hannah, who was friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurant and the menu. One of the managers also welcomed us about 15 minutes after we sat down. While the service was very friendly, it was a bit intrusive as Hannah and the manager came to our table a little too frequently to ask how we liked our meal and then stayed to chat, interrupting our conversations. Otherwise, the food and wine recommendations from Hannah were spot on! We shared the carpaccio and tuna tartare starters, and were happily surprised to learn the Saltlik provides for splitting one of their delicious steaks via ‘family style’! We so appreciated that touch. Overall we had a lovely dining experience and highly recommend the Saltlik!

Customer service at its finest!! Delectable dinner!! I enjoyed the sirloin 🥩 with mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, burrata cheese along with duck fat french fries. The dessert was the toffee caramel 🍮 sticky pudding that was mouth watering and amazing!
