My second time in Calgary was nothing short of perfection. Last year I dined here for my birthday and when the thought of what to do rolled around this year, flying to Calgary seemed both extra, and hilarious. But it stuck. Saltlik, you outdid yourself. I’ve been thinking of the Beeswax Old Fashioned for 366 days and it just hits the spot. Victoria B.C. hasn’t latched onto it yet but it’ll come. Dinner was exceptional but the real star or the show was Trevor. Exceptional service is becoming an almost lost art and this guy has it. His energetic read on the table and tailored charisma is what 90s career servers were made of. The kind of server who questions himself “how do I elevate this experience?!” And then executes. His tag team with Chris to make this birthday nothing short of Calgary perfection is exactly why we ended up here. Thank you for making us feel special, our dinner incredible and leaving us with yet another Saltlik memory for the books. Thanks over many thanks. We will see you again!

Amazing service - friendly from the moment we walked in, attentive, but not too overbearing. Even got a couple glasses of champagne for my birthday :) Food was incredible. I got the salmon and it was cooked wonderfully and came with delicious potatoes. Also got maybe the best sour I've ever had!

Went for a birthday dinner as I hadn't been to saltlik before and kept hearing great things. The staff definitely lived up to the reputation. The service was fantastic, the food was perfectly prepared and a big shout out to the bar staff because our drinks were so good. We had some of our favorites (old fashioned, mule and whiskey sour) but I love that they had their own spin on the classics. I had the scallops and gnocchi and it was very, very delicious, with flavors that I honestly wasn't expecting. I was so glad I chose to go here for dinner and I will definitely be going again to try more of the menu. Highly, highly recommend!
